The light at the end.

It hit me this morning, as I was eating a healthy breakfast of Top Ramen; I'm graduating in less than fifty days. Soon I will be thrust into the outside world where I will either sink or swim. Or maybe float? It's pretty exciting, I suppose. But also very scary.
Anyway.
My senior art show is almost complete. There is a total of twenty or so paintings and I have three more to do until I'm out of here. Oh happy day!
Oh, for those of you who don't know, my show is July 7th at 7 p.m. in the Spori building on the BYU-Idaho campus.
After this is all over I will move to Arizona with Wayne and we will live happily ever after.

The end.

These are not for the show, they are some more quick color studies! I just can't get enough of them.

Now to start my third to last painting!

Love your work to bits! these are fantastic studies, although I feel they are finished pieces of their own already! Have you ever thought about using texture in your work?

Thanks so much! I have thought about using texture, but I haven't the slightest idea of where to start! I think it would add a lot of visual interest though. I would like to try it.

I love the colors! I should probably do studies too. Thanks for the inspiration. By the way, your dragon reminds me of a painting by Tolkien. That excites me.

I love the perspective on the kidnapper in the woods. Is he a kidnapper? It looks to me like the little lady was just cooking a meal for her cats at her little cottage in the forest when some big lady snatcher came and took her away.
Anyway, it's super awesome and I love it.

Wowza! Just studies? Wow. Awesome! They really look like your were having fun. Almost like a sigh of relief to be doing something other than BFA. Awesome Sauce!
